Although it may not look it now to you younger sneaker fans out there, when the Nike Air Revolution released in 1988 it was, in fact, a pretty revolutionary shoe. By far the most teched-out basketball shoe to date from Nike and the first basketball shoe to feature visible Air when it released, the high-top, strapped-out Air Revolution was a powerhouse on the courts.
Nike Sportswear honors the Air Revolution's 25th anniversary this year in two original colorways of white/red and white/royal, both with black and grey accents. Get a good look at both returning OG colorways below compliments of Crooked Tongues, and expect them at select Nike Sportswear retailers beginning next month. Who is ready for the return of the Revolution?
