Unless you happen to be a San Diego State basketball fan, Kawhi Leonard may have flown under your radar going into the 2011 draft. But the fact that the Spurs traded away a promising young contributor in George Hill to the Pacers on draft night to acquire Leonard, should have been a clue that he might turn into someone worth keeping an eye on.

Almost immediately, Leonard started contributing on the defensive end, which led to his moving into the Spurs' starting rotation in early 2012. He’s since become an important contributor on both ends of the court, as evidenced by his play thus far in the 2013 NBA Finals.

Going into the series, it became evident that he would spend considerable time with basically the hardest defensive assignment of the era: LeBron James. Thus far, Leonard, along with his Spurs teammates, have exceeded expectations defensively, limiting LeBron to a high of 18 points through the first three games of the series.

For the first two games, Kawhi faced off against LeBron in Miami wearing this adidas REV30 Spurs away jersey in the team's classic black and silver colors. Check out the details below.

Do you think the Heat will extend the series and force the Spurs to wear their black away uniforms again? Or will the Spurs close out the series at home?
