Yesterday, we previewed the adidas EQT Elevation in a Charlotte Hornets-inspired colorway, paying tribute to the team that originally drafted Kobe Bryant in 1996. Kobe has no direct ties to the 76ers organization, but this upcoming Philly colorway is a nod to his birthplace — the City of Brotherly Love.
The "76ers" EQT Elevation sports an anodized red upper with mesh side panels, blue patent 3-Stripes and black trim throughout. Holographic tabs read '8' on the tongue and '76' on the ankle, referencing Kobe's original jersey number and the 76ers, respectively. Below sits a black and white molded midsole and red-dominated rubber outsole.
As of now, there isn't an official release date for the "76ers" EQT Elevation, but be sure to stick with Sole Collector for updates.
