Not only was the 1996 NBA All-Star Game highly entertaining, it may have been the all-time best in terms of style. From the San Antonio-inspired uniforms to the numerous classic sneakers that hit the Alamodome court, the star-studded affair was a fashion gold mine.
One of the players who stood out the most in the game was the Western Conference's Shawn Kemp, who rocked a special Navy/White colorway of the Kamikaze II. Earlier this year, Reebok Classics celebrated the return of the model by re-releasing the All-Star colorway for the first time.
Now, Jersey-based retailer Packer Shoes teases a new Kamikaze II collaboration with Reebok Classics, inspired by the '96 All-Star Game. In the photo, we get a look at what appears to be a grey colorway of Kemp's classic with a unique pepper version of the Vector logo. We're further tipped off by '1996' embroidery on the lacestay.
