Playing on Kobe Bryant's love of the 'Beautiful Game,' Nike is releasing a Mercurial-inspired colorway of his Kobe 8 System signature shoe.
The "Mambacurial" pulls cues from Nike's flagship soccer boot, which launched in Fireberry/Electric Green earlier this year. Also like the boot, the shoe is lined by what appears to be black synthetic leather and large NIKE letting runs along the medial side. Below sits a black midsole and translucent Electric Green rubber outsole.
No official "Mambacurial" launch date at the moment, but online retailer Kicks Crew is offering a pre-order with an expected May release. Perhaps that gives us a clue of when we can expect these to hit shelves. When they do, will you be grabbing a pair?
