It's a great time to be a fan of Miami basketball. Not only are the Heat in the midst of a 26-game winning streak on the NBA level, but the Hurricanes have advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. In a closely contested round of 32 matchup with Illinois Sunday night, Shane Larkin and company made big buckets down the stretch to hold on for a 63-59 victory. The Canes will take on Marquette in DC this Thursday.
When he wasn't hilariously bombing his teammates' interviews, big man Julian Gamble was busy taking care of the dirty work in the paint wearing the SoleFly x Jordan Spizike "Hurricanes" collaboration. Released last summer, the kicks celebrate the Miami-based retailer's 2nd Anniversary and were inspired by Miami's team colors.
