After having success with The Pump, Reebok wanted to make an even bigger impact on the court in 1992.

"What we needed was a larger than life presence, a basketball prodigy that would forever change the game," said Reebok Vice President of Classic, Basketball and Entertainment Todd Krinsky. "And Reebok got just that when we partnered with arguably the most dominant player in the league, Shaquille O'Neal."

For Shaq's rookie season in '92, Reebok launched the Shaq Attaq, equipped with the brand's legendary Pump technology. The shoe also featured Graphlite, a first-of-its-kind strong plastic fiber which allowed Reebok to strip away heavy rubber to create a sleeker, lighter silhouette. The design reflected the brightness of Orlando blue and was the perfect bold look for a player of Shaq's stature.

This spring, Reebok Classics is finally brining the Shaq Attaq back to retail. On Friday, April 19, you'll be able to grab the shoe for $160 at retailers including Jimmy Jazz, Shiekh, Villa, City Gear, DTLR, Shoe Palace and Reebok.com.
