Late this past summer, Nike and Laika Studios teamed up out of nowhere on what instantly became one of the year's best sneakers, the "ParaNorman" Foamposite One.

Made by the Nike Innovation Kitchen to help promote the animated film of the same name, the "ParaNorman" themed shoe was available via only a quirky Twitter contest and eBay charity auction, making the 800 pair run one of the most saught after drops in some time.

While we're all familiar with the "WEIRD WINS" detailed pair that released and the many cues and hits found throughout, check out this early round sample pair below that was captured up close by awesome photographer "US10." The most noticeable difference is of course the lack of any custom badging, with red stitched logos and details found instead.

Do you like the additional accent color hits here, or did Nike release the better version?
