Carmelo Anthony only spent one year with the Syracuse Orange, but that lone season resulted in the school's first and only National Championship. During halftime of yesterday's game between Syracuse and the rival Georgetown Hoyas, the Orange saluted Melo's 2003 run to glory by holding a ceremony to retire his #15 jersey. Additionally, the Jordan Brand outfitted several Orange players in a special "Syracuse" make-up of Anthony's Melo M9 signature shoe.

The "Syracuse" Melo M9 features a metallic orange and white upper, complete with navy hits on the laces, inner lining and outsole.

This colorway doesn't appear on the Jordan Brand's launch calendar at the moment, but we'll let you know if that changes in the future. Below, a few shots from yesterday's game.
