Amar'e Stoudemire returned to the NBA court last night for the first time this season after undergoing knee surgery, sporting a PE version of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. After a first look at these Hyperposite PE's before the season began on NBA media day, they finally made it onto the court for in-game action last night as the New York Knicks took on the Portland Trailblazers at Madison Square Garden. Amar'e put up 6 points and 1 rebound in 17 minutes off the bench in his self-admittedly rusty season debut.
Although his game wasn't quite fresh, his Air Max Hyperposite PE's were. The shoe features a Knicks-Home-friendly white Foamposite upper with royal blue Hyperfuse and accents in orange. Already seeing a successful release for the"Away" version of his Hyperposite PE, who would like to see this "Home" version hit retail as well?
