Before becoming a New York City hoop legend, Patrick Ewing was an all-time great collegiate athlete at Georgetown University. One of the most heavily recruited freshman in history, Ewing led the Hoyas to an NCAA title in '84 and to the championship game in three of his four years. Due to his college dominance, Ewing was selected first overall by the Knicks in 1985 and the rest is history.
Paying tribute to Patrick's time at Georgetown, it look like Ewing Athletics is dropping his 33 Hi signature shoe in a new Hoyas-inspired colorway. The shoe sports a navy and grey suede upper with the usual branding hits and canvas cross-strap.
No official release details for this pair yet, but stick with Sole Collector for updates. In the meantime, let us know what you think about this newly introduced colorway.
