Prior to Thursday's official Nike Kobe 8 System launch, Kobe Bryant laced up a never-before-seen "Lakers" colorway of his new signature model against the Charlotte Bobcats Tuesday Night.
The shoe features what appears to be a blend of metallic silver and grey tones on the upper, accented by hits of purple and a vibrant yellow sole. Expect to see this pair in stores next spring.
LA somehow managed to dig themselves into an 18-point third quarter hole against the 'Cats, but rallied to pull off a slim 101-100 victory. Kobe's seventh consecutive game of 30 or more points is the longest streak by a player after turning 34-years old.
