The latest Packer Shoes collaboration celebrates the New Jersey Americans, the first ever team name assigned to the Nets basketball franchise. As part of the ABA, the Americans competed during the 1967-1968 season before the team's name was changed to the Nets the following year. Paying homage to that eventual ABA championship squad and the old Teaneck Armory they called home, Packer has linked up with adidas Originals for the "New Jersey Americans" Conductor Hi.
Featured on the shoe's upper is a patriotic arrangement of premium suede, leather and heavy duty mesh. The tongue logo serves as a nod to the Americans logo, while classic camo on the lining and insole give the shoe an Armory feel. Lastly, there's a tri-colored Trefoil logo and 3M reflective hits on the heel.
The "New Jersey Americans" Conductor Hi will drop at Packer Shoes in the near future. Stick with Sole Collector for details.
