A Look Back At Dennis Rodman's Game-Worn Nike Shake Ndestrukt

With Dennis (definitely) enjoying a birthday over the weekend, the NBA playoffs moving along into later rounds and Nike's new Max Shake Evolve launching this season, it seems like a pretty good time to take a look back at The Worm's most iconic sneaker in its most memorable on-court colorway.

This simple black and white game-worn size 14 pair was actually worn by Rodman during the 1996 NBA Finals, when the Chicago Bulls took care of the Seattle Supersonics in six games.

Auctioned off by Rodman just before he entered the Basketball Hall of Fame last fall, the well-used pair fetched a pretty impressive $2,257. It definitely didn't hurt to have "96 Champs Bulls" penned along the right shoe's Swoosh and a "Dennis Rodman #91" autograph on the left shoe.

Check back later this week for more features on both the original Shake Ndestrukt and the new Max Shake Evolve.
