Established in 2006, the Rose Classic Program is described as the benchmark brand for organized, competitive basketball for female athletes. Running through spring and fall cycles, the league is open to talent from the nation's top high school, AAU and travel teams. A premier name in grassroots women's hoops, Rose Classic has also established a working relationship with Nike, which has resulted in this special colorway of the Lunar Hypergamer Low.
After surveying 800 players, Nike determined that the girls preferred playing in a shoe that is both comfortable and breathable. With that knowledge, the low-cut version of the Lunar Hypergamer was selected for this special make-up. The shoe features a Green Abyss Hyperfuse upper, helped by rose-colored accents on the laces, inner lining, midsole and graphics visible through the outsole. A special Rose Classic logo also appears on the tongue.
Good news for fans of the shoe is that these will be dropping in limited quantities on Thursday, April 5 at House of Hoops locations in Chicago, New York and Miami. Check out Rose Classic Hoops for more information.
