In a preview of sorts for what we can expect to see on court at the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend, Knicks rookie guard Iman Shumpert debuted the "High Energy" themed  version of the Top Ten 2000 Retro this past Friday during the night's marquee TV matchup featuring the Lakers and Knicks at MSG. The Top Ten 2000 was of course the very first adidas Basketball shoe worn by Kobe Bryant once he turned pro.

The "High Energy" theme is all about "disruption" and celebrating the All-Star Game's host city of Orlando, according to adidas Basketball Category Footwear Manager Jack Gray. The Orange County inspired colorway also takes on a nubuck base, translucent outsole and anodized hardwood synthetic overlay for some added layering and detail.

Enjoy exclusive shots of Shumpert's "High Energy" Top Ten 2000s below, and be on the lookout later this month in Orlando for Dwight Howard's similarly blocked adiPower Howard 2, as well as reigning MVP Derrick Rose's orange-splashed adiZero Rose 2.5s. All three models will be limited quickstrikes during All-Star Weekend.
