After officially unveiling the new adidas adiZero Rose 2.5 to the world via video review earlier this month, Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose finally broke them out on the court in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Unlike last season, when Rose made the switch to the Rose 1.5 during the All-Star Game, he'll be wearing home and away colorways of his new shoe leading up to this year's break. The Rose 2.5 is Derrick's fourth official signature shoe with adidas. Weighing in at 11 ounces, it's said to be his lightest sneaker to date, making it possible that the league's fastest player will be even faster.

Locked in a point guard match-up with Brandon Jennings, Rose took control offensively and emerged victorious in this round. He scored 34 points and added 3 rebounds and 3 assists in a 107-101 Bulls win.

Read on for a look at Derrick's first game playing in the adidas adiZero Rose 2.5. You can pre-order home and away colorways over at Eastbay today.
