This week, adidas is reintroducing one of their original running shoes, the Achill. Initially released in the late-60s, the Achill set the course for modern EVA wedge cushioning systems and was designed with a reinforced heel for Achilles Tendon protection. The shoe features a plush suede upper with leather overlay detailing, including the 3-Stripes on the side panels.
Several colorways of the Achill are being released this fall, including white, blue and red styles. There's also a black-based colorway that is an exact one-to-one pull from an original 1974 colorway.
