When day seven of the 2011 Nike MAG eBay auctions came to a close last night, the total amount of cash raised for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Researched totaled about $493,578, a slight increase over the total generated by the sixth round of auctions. With 150 pairs auctioned off, the average pair on day seven went for about $3,291. Surprisingly, the highest amount a pair of MAGs went for last night was $6,100, the most spent on a pair since the second day.

Overall, the 2011 Nike MAG auctions have raised around $4,121,028 for Parkinson's Disease research. The going rate for a pair over the last week is somewhere in the neighborhood of $3,925. With Google Co-Founder Sergey Brin's pledge to double Michael J. Fox Foundation contributions for the remainder of the year, more than $8.2 million dollars have been raised through seven days.

We're inching closer toward the end of the 1,500 pair run and people spending more money yesterday may be a sign that collectors are going all out to make sure they don't miss out. You can still own a pair of the most talked about shoes of all-time by heading over to nikemag.ebay.com to place your bid.
