Whether a deal is in place to start the new NBA season or not, Derrick Rose's new signature shoe will start hitting retailers next month. The adidas adiZero Rose 2.0 takes on an "All Flights Canceled" theme, pairing a synthetic and mesh SprintWeb system on the upper with an extra-sturdy SprintFrame support chassis to keep the speedster stable when he's making his signature cuts. Also aiding those cuts is re-designed tooling with improved traction elements for enhanced grip.
This particular pair, decked out in Chicago "home" colors, is probably something we can expect to see a lot of at the United Center during the first half of the season. The upper is mostly done in white, with red working a mesh underlayer and the interior lining. Black pops up on the lacelock panel, support tabs, baseline and heel counter, which houses white 3-Stripe branding. Also white is the midsole, which sits atop a red rubber outsole to cap off the look.
Priced at $110, look for the "home" adidas adiZero Rose to hit retailers like Eastbay next month.
