Coming as one of the most unexpected and unique releases ever from the beloved Jordan Brand, the 'Banned' Air Jordan Retro 1 was released this morning at select Nike outlets nationwide. And of course, a release like this cannot pass us by without any madness. Giving us a feel of the madness, we have an inside look at how things went down at this Nike outlet located in Sunrise, Florida where tons of Air Jordan loyalists lined-up for a shot at this iconic piece of Air Jordan history.

With outlets receiving somewhere around a 100 pairs each, many fans were lined-up as early as last night for a shot at a pair. While many did pick up a pair to collect, there was also a ton of people out there who are flooding the re-sell market with them and causing prices to sky-rocket.  With fans still scattering to score a pair, only time will tell if this was another successful release for the Jordan Brand or one we'd like to forget.

Either way, it's great to see a classic Air Jordan make a return with all original Nike Air branding and some high quality materials. Were you lucky enough to pick up a pair of the 'Banned' Air Jordan Retro 1? If not, would you welcome an official release in the future? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
