All the rage in signature footwear these days is taking the existing base model and revamping it several times over for newer performance-oriented releases. With the Jordan Brand, we've seen the Air Jordan 2011 transform into the Hyperfuse-constructed Air Jordan 2011 Q-Flight and Melo M7 become the Flywire-embedded Melo M7 Advance. The latest Jordan Brand sneaker to be made-over is Chris Paul's CP3.IV, which will drop this summer as the new-and-improved CP3.IV Advance.

Immediately you'll notice the implementation of midfoot support cross-straps. The upper has been re-designed, actually reducing some of the mesh paneling and increasing the leather and nubuck overlays. Tooling features, such as Zoom Air and Podulon cushioning remain in tact.

The CP3.IV Advance will launch in July with a standard White/Metallic Silver-Black colorway. These two looks, in Black/Charcoal/Varsity Red and White/Stealth/Varsity Blue, will follow shortly after. Let us know what you think about the new version of Chris Paul's latest in contrast to the original.
