A day after showing some love to our mothers, we get a look at the very rare and highly sought after "Motherlover" Zoom Kobe IV sample. Of course, the mother loving this shoe references doesn't exactly fall in line with the vibe of yesterday's holiday. In May of 2009, Andy Samberg (of SNL & the Lonely Island) and Justin Timberlake followed up their smash parody hit "Dick In A Box" with a digital short called "Motherlover" on an episode of SNL. Returning to their roles as a 90s R&B inspired duo, Samberg and Timberlake offered to be the Mother's Day gift for each other's mother in the clip, hence the title of the song.

The shoes feature a teal green upper that matches the button-up collared shirts worn by Justin and Andy in the music video. Black accents the Swoosh logos, heel and fade details on the laces and midsole. On the tongue and footbed appear 90s-style tribal graphics, along with "ML" logos and an actual quote from the song in the insole.

Alan Leung happened to get his hands on a rare sample pair of the "Motherlovers" and has shared photos with us today. Check out detailed images below and follow Alan on Tumblr.
