For the second time in as many years, Nike has launched their Elite Youth Basketball League. Comprised of 40 elite travel teams made up of players from the nation's 17-and-under age group, EYBL 2011 tipped off on April 8th in Hampton, Virginia. The teams are based out of 27 states altogether, as well as a few from Canada. The tournament will culminate in the 24 top teams qualifying for the EYBL Finals at the NIKE Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina from July 12-15, 2011.

As you'd expect, Nike has introduced some special footwear for the second season of EYBL. Here's a look at two special Zoom Hyperfuse Low colorways made-up exclusively for the tournament's participants. One pair sports a metallic team red base with a contrasting bright red inner liner and metallic silver Swoosh branding. The other features a bright red Fuse composite upper with a green lining and silver Swoosh. Both pairs are finished off with translucent outsoles.

Read on for a closer look at both shoes and look out for them on the court this weekend as EYBL resumes in Torrance, California.
