1991 Air Jordan Flight Club Calendar

Take a page by page look at this artifact of sneaker culture from 20 years ago.

The 1991 Air Jordan Flight Club calendar was given away on boxes of Wheaties cereal, one of Michael Jordan's many endorsers.  The "Breakfast of Champions" teamed up with Nike to make this marvelous calendar filled shots of MJ along with interesting facts about him for certain dates of the year. It was a great piece of marketing for Nike because every month you got a look at either an Air Jordan shoe or piece of apparel.  You even got an order form to join the Air Jordan Flight Club, which unfortunately no longer exists.

Take a look at each page and you'll spot the Air Jordan I, IV, V, and VI. (Note that he appears to have the AJ 5 lace lock on his AJ 6's.)  Which is your favorite shoe or piece of apparel seen here?

(Also, a special thanks to my man Mark Lagbao for hooking me up with this mint condition copy of the calendar!)
