Last month, trading card and sports collectibles company Upper Deck announced Exquisite 2013-2014, a premium collection of basketball cards packed with autographs and memorabilia inserts. Among the special cards is a series called signature kicks, which consists of extremely rare autographed cards that house a piece of the signature athlete's shoe.
Perhaps for the first time since childhood, sneakerheads were intrigued by the sports card hobby (I still collect), but Exquisite isn't your typical set. Hobby boxes, which only include six cards, are priced in the $550 range. However, in each box, you're guaranteed 5 autographed cards.
