10 Sneakers That Should Always Be Available

words // Luis Sanchez

When it comes to some of the best sneakers of all time, not being able to get your hands on them can really take away from their overall appeal.

Everyone appreciates great designs such as the Black/Cement Grey Air Jordan III and the Air Yeezy II, but that doesn't mean much if you can't get them on your feet. Limited numbers are only actually beneficial to resellers or that guy that just wants what everyone else can't have, leaving the true appreciators empty handed more times than not.

But what if all these highly coveted styles were readily available? Would most of them still be just as popular, or would mass production somewhat bring their overall appeal down? SC recently took a look back at some of the most classic sneakers out there, looking to nail down 10 shoes worth the hype and still just as appreciated if always available for everyone to purchase and proudly rock.

Check the list below, and be sure to hit the comments to share what sneakers you would personally appreciate always being available.

Air Jordan I

Recognized as the shoe that started it all for the empire that now is the Jordan Brand, we really don't need much more reason for the Black/Red Air Jordan I to be readily available. Their return last December proved their worth and appeal, with just about everyone doing all they can to get their hands on a pair.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid - White on White

Yes - White on White Air Force 1s are pretty much readily available already. But when it comes to the Mids, Nike appears to only release them in certain seasons and specific regions across the country. With the resurgence that the AF1 is currently seeing, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have White on White Mids on deck at most major spots across the country.

Reebok Question

The shoe that started it all for Reebok and Allen Iverson. Still reissued to this day by Reebok, the Reebok Question has definitely earned a reason to stay around after almost 20 years in existence and relevancy.

Air Jordan III

Just like the Air Jordan I, the Air Jordan III really helped lay the foundation for the success of the Jordan Brand. But aside from their historical importance, the Air Jordan III is just an undeniably unique design and unlike any other signature basketball shoe. I can think of anyone who'd complain if the Black/Cement Grey Air Jordan III was always available.

Nike Air Presto

When the Presto first hit, it quickly became the ultimate 'Chill' shoe. Not only just a simple shoe to rock around, the Air Presto was quite versatile in the sense that it functioned pretty well with just about any outfit while still providing the ultimate lightweight comfort we all look for in a shoe. Their minimal look has made them look great in just about any colorway, creating tons of options for Nike to keep them on the shelves. The Presto would also be a huge hit if ever made available on NIKEiD.

Air Max 90 - Infrared

While the Air Max 90 itself is already readily available in a number of different variations, its really the 'Infrared' colorway that everyone appreciates. The original Air Max 90 works with the perfect blend of materials for everyday use, while featuring an eye-catching color scheme that somehow still goes with just about everything.

Air Jordan IV

The Air Jordan IV is yet another widely appreciated Air Jordan model. Not only significant for being part of Tinker and the Jordan Brand's rise, the Air Jordan IV features a design and classic materials that go with just about anything. Just give us easy access to either the Black/Cement Grey or White/Cement Grey colorway and everyone will definitely be happy.

adidas ZX Flux

Here's an unexpected shoe on the list, the recently released ZX Flux by adidas Originals. Since their recent introduction, the ZX Flux has done nothing but impress. adidas has managed to release just enough simple colorways to prove the model's versatility, while also releasing a number of unique graphic pairs that have just completely blown us away. With that said, we really hope the ZX Flux remains around for years to come.

Air Jordan XI

Not much of an argument has to be made for the Air Jordan XI to be readily available. We've all seen the mass hysteria their release has caused in the past, just creating more reason for the classic colorways to be easily accessible. With rumors out there of the Jordan Brand releasing over 1 Million pairs of 2012 Black/Red Retro 11s over time, it's no secret pairs would definitely move at a consistent rate if readily available.

Nike Air Yeezy II

Here's another no-brainer. The one model everyone has pretty much opposed to being limited, even Kanye. While its a little too late now, Kanye's wishes for his product to be readily available would have definitely made everyone happy. I know for a fact I wouldn't mind just walking into my local spots to pick up some Yeezy IIs just to rock as my everyday shoes.
