Earlier today at the Ed Davis Community Center in Akron, Ohio, LeBron James and Nike Basketball designer Jason Petrie unveiled the latest signature sneaker for King James in front of media members as well as a live streaming global webcast.
Touted as the lightest signature shoe in the LeBron line yet (lighter than the Air Zoom Generation even?), the Air Max LeBron VII most prominently features two never-before-seen elements in James’ line: 360 Max Air and Flywire. The 360 differs from the previously used and Pebax cage-encased 360 Max Air bag found on the Air Max 360 BB, as worn by Amare Stoudemire, and the hope is that the tooling sits lower, offers better court feel and is also more responsive. Along the upper, Nike’s Flywire panelling plays a large role in offerings support in a lightweight package, and a gleaming patent leather rand makes up the perimeter of the shoe, wrapping fully around and serving as a support footbucket of sorts. Signature details include the ‘LJ23′ logo along the lateral heel, as well as the ‘VII’ touch to be found along the top molded lace grommets. You’ll find ‘King’ and ‘James’ welded at the bottom of the eyestay along the laces, ‘TWENTY’ and ‘THREE’ along the outsole toes as well, and also LeBron’s ‘L’ and ‘J’ tricep tattoos along the corresponding heels.

I think the shoe is great. Max Air is exactly what a guy like Lebron James needs.

im really feelin these $160 tho can we get a recession price lol. the shoe is perfect, im glad 2 c lebron switching to the flywire and max air. i like the newest technologies in my shoes. i also love patent leather, ive been waiting 2 c lebron put some patent in his shoes. an all black colorway in these would b sick! these r a must have!

if any jordan i would say the 16…w/out that sleeve thingy.
Or XI’s(the patent part) with a XX3-styled upper, it’s basically the clean nose, with an elegant upper, because they do have their own identity.

No offense, but these are nothing like the HyperMax, the Air Max is different(it’s thinner, harder, and more flexible), they got different cuts, even the balance is different in both, HyperMax=Power Forward-Center shoe(it’s just as easy to go to the heel, as it is to the toe), LeBron VII=Big Small Forward shoe(very toe oriented).

Finally, the bulky LBJ’s are over! I was never a fan of the LBJ line well until i saw this one on SC. The previous LBJ’s were, in my personal opinion, too massive and has little finesse. They look like shoes waiting to transform ala transformers sometimes. But this one is good, perhaps the best LBJ shoe ever released. Fits Lebron perfectly. Jason Petrie sure knows his craft very well, hats off.

These are NOT. Court feel needs work as the “new” air max is nothing compared to zoom.

im feeling these, read the review, everything was 10/10 or 9/10 except for the durability 7/10 and breathability6/10. so far so good with this shoe, but ill be honest, who here tried the huaraches 09?……i personally take the huaraches 09 > kobe4s/hyperdunks/hyperize…..but we’ll see about the lebrons and see if they REALLYY feel like “youre walking on air” cause in the end, comfortability is almost everything. (besides lightweight).
