Vans Syndicate Warrior Leather Mountain Edition

Meeting the footwear demands of the United States military is not something that many materials can do. One of the few materials that is used in almost every style of boot that complies with the strict standards necessary to live up to soldiers’ standards is Wolverine Warrior Leather. Along with military standards, Wolverine Warrior Leather has also become a standard in the law enforcement world. In most instances, as is the case with the latest from the Vans Syndicate team, Wolverine Warrior Leather is combined with a ballistic type nylon.

The Vans Syndicate team has made a habit of keeping the number of releases low, and quality high for every release. Typically less than a dozen projects per year make the make the Syndicate cut, very similar to the way the US military and law enforcement teams have high standards for their footwear needs. Knowing that Wolverine Warrior Leather made the cut for US military, it seems only fitting for that it fit the bill for Vans Syndicate.

For this holiday release, the Syndicate team chose to use Wolverine Warrior Leather on two colorways of the Mountain Edition S. Just as it is used in tactical boots, Warrior Leather is combined with the tight weave nylon in military inspired colorways of black and khaki. Highlighting the Mountain Edition is the midfoot strap which covers the only detail that lets you know this is a Syndicate release, the Syndicate S. Completing the Vans touch, a white vulcanized sole sits beneath the tonal uppers. The resulting combination makes for a high quality and durable release.
