Back in the late eighties, Jeff Grosso deeply etched his name into skateboard history. Grosso on a board, was like butter on bread, smooth and what only could be described as a natural fit. Off the board he represented the wild and rebellious style that was so often synonymous with skateboarding. While his time as a pro was short lived, as the So-Cal native only skated pro for about 4 or 5 years, he made waves in the industry. Jeff’s life has had some ups and downs throughout the years, but the more mature path he is on now seems to be working well for him. One of the results of this new approach to life is the opportunity to work with Vans on his very own Pro Legends Pack.
Jeff and Vans decided on three silhouettes for the Grosso Pro Pack. The simple and subtle Era low-top and the Sk8 Mid have been done up in a black colorway with slimy green accents. The popular Sk8-Hi receives an inversion of that color combination which makes for a more eye-catching colorway. Jeff teamed up with John Lucero, owner of Black Label Skateboards, to come up with some old-school styled graphics on the insole and tongue tag. You can pay your respects to a legend by picking up a part of this pack, which is available at In4mation.
