Thrasher x CONS Prevent This Tragedy Collection

Thrasher Magazine has been keeping the skateboarding culture informed for nearly 30 years now. In addition to one of the industry’s leading magazines, they’ve helped to create countless videos. Videos from old school how-to videos, to the likes of Skate and Destroy, that was so legendary it became a video game. For their next endeavor, they’ve enlisted the help of the up-and-coming CONS Skateboarding team to help launch a new video and a few makeups of the CTS.

This time around Thrasher has chosen an all-star skate crew, including Sammy Baca, Ethan Fowler, Raymond Molinar, Tom Remillard, and Nick Trapasso. A crew that will ensure pandemonium and chaos in true Thrasher style (for a preview of the chaos click here). The crew traveled the world during filming, doing so in some of the best skate shoes the Converse Skateboarding line has to offer.

The Thrasher x CONS Prevent This Tragedy Collection features two low-top versions of the Chuck Taylor Skate (CTS), as well as a mid-cut model of the same silhouette. The two low-top versions remain low-key with one in black and gum,  and the second in black and white with blue accents. The mid-top version comes in a similar colorway with the blue highlighting color being ditched in favor of bright green, and features the Prevent This Tragedy moniker across the midsole. Though these may look like your typical Chucks, they’ve been beefed up for skate duty or what some us like to call thrashing.

The CONS Prevent This Tragedy Collection is available now at select Converse Skateboarding retailers, while you’ll have to wait until January for the video to drop.
