Reebok celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the Pump sneaker last night with an all-out bash in New York City. With the help of two of the most legendary sponsored athletes, Emmitt Smith and Dominique Wilkins as hosts, the event launches theĀ release of the 20th Anniversary Pump Collection.
In addition to the masses of industry folks and fans in attendance, Reebok brought out designer of the Pump, Paul Litchfield, as well. As the creator of such a groundbreaking and influential technology, you can only imagine the number of people who were lined up to have “Litch” autograph some of their Pump paraphernalia. With the launch of the Pump 20 Collection, Reebok is returning to the shoe that started it all and is looking forward to bringing back more iconic models for 2010. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see which models will return from their vast heritage.

Classic Shoe! I very happy with the re-release of the Bring Back pump! I was fortunate to get the Cmon wealth edition and a pair of the Classic colorway (white/blue). The only thing that bothers me is Dominique Wilkins never got his on shoe! Reebok needs to fix this!!! ASAP
