Supra TK Society Pro Model Goes Gold

words_Nick Engvall

While the basketball side of the sneaker community is cutting down ankle heights, the skateboard side seems to be trending in the complete opposite direction. Supra is the undisputed leader when it comes to towering ankle heights. The company has garnered a following that rivals all others in the sneaker industry thanks to the raised ankle height of silhouettes like the Supra TK Society.

The Terry Kennedy pro model is one of the most popular skateboard sneakers out right now. Although at first glance the Supra TK Society appears to be more rock star status than skate shoe, you can be sure that in this case looks can be deceiving. Even though the high ankle cut seems like it comes with added weight, the TK Society breaks that stereotype the same way it breaks necks. The latest colorway needs no introduction for Supra fans, as it has been one of the pioneers of the rock star approach of Supra. Most recently seen on the newly unveiled Skytop II, the gold and silver foil-like finish seems more appropriate on a stage than it does on a skateboard, but then again just like most of the Supra riders, Terry Kennedy lives a rock star lifestyle both on and off the board.

This new Supra TK Society colorway officially hits Factory413 both online and in-store Saturday December 12th.
