While most of our posts take on an objective or positive tone, ’cause we generally like to write about shoes we like, you can’t always be nice to everything. Unfortunately for your viewing displeasure, what we have here (courtesy Hoop China) is a sample of the Converse Wade I — only they vulcanized it. I can’t explain it, either.
With brands “fusing” everything from classic Air Jordan models to even the Reebok Answer III, to the dismay of sneaker purists everywhere, it’s no surprise that Converse had toyed around with the idea of remixing their most popular hoops shoe in recent years. The Wade I, with its multi-panel upper and considerable versatility, appears to be the latest victim of vulcanization. With DWade splitting from Converse, thankfully these’ll never hit a retail wall.

I just threw up in my mouth a little. THANK GOD these aren’t releasing.
why converse? WHY? This is definitely not a good look!
Anyone know what’ll happen to marquette’s bball sponsorship? will they carry jb now?
^ Exactly what will be happening.
Answer 3 Fusion??..
No. Please. No. What’s up with the Converse designers? Or is this Nike’s way of taking down competition? The best Converse in years and they schlep it up by whacking on that pug ugly sole? What are you thinking?
OH NO!
why?
and Answer 3 fusions?
I actually like these… yet again:
