In many parts of the country, snowboarding season has already arrived to welcome arms. In others, people are scouring through retailers and online stores trying to finalize the details of this season’s gear. While Nike has been involved in the industry for a number of years, it is one of the few markets they delve into that has resulted in more opportunity than success. With any niche market, Nike has the resources to broaden their market share. This year the team of riders, and lineup of gear, is one of the most solid we’ve seen.
This year’s Nike Snowboarding boots brings two silhouettes in a number of styles. The return of the Air Force 1 inspired Zoom Force 1 freestyle boot leads the charge this year with five colorways now available at retailers. In a rigorous sport like snowboarding, performance and comfort are key priorities. The Zoom Force 1 comes with plenty of both, thanks to features like Zoom Air, an Instep Lace Lock and Locking Lace Loop. Of course freestyle snowboarding is all about style, and to cover every possible preference, Nike has created a number of colorways ranging from mild to wild.

The second boot releasing as part of this season’s collection is the Zoom Kaiju Boot. Nike’s approach with this boot is much more aggressive than the Zoom Force 1, as the Zoom Kaiju is loaded with Nike’s latest technologies. Zoom Air provides the utmost comfort, while Nike’s Free and Flywire technologies offer the flexibility and support needed to keep you upright. Style is provided by some classic Nike accent colors such as Varsity Royal and Orange Blaze. Elements such as elephant print and a speckled midsole add to the already convincing colorways that are available now at Nike Snowboarding retailers.
