Eric Koston’s jump from Lakai to Nike Skateboarding last June made waves throughout the skate industry. As one of the top skaters in the world, it was not only the talk of the skate world, but also the heavily skate-oriented sneaker community as well. Of course the naysayers were quick to say it was all about the money. Not to say the dollars didn’t influence his decision, but it’s no secret that Koston has been a sneaker collector for quite some time.

Now that Koston ads have started appearing in skateboarding magazines around the world, Eric sat down with Nike Skateboarding for a short interview. He discusses his love of sneakers, and gives some insight into the direction he is moving with Nike SB. Check out the video below to find out his top five of all time, you might be surprised what makes his list. He also names the worst Nike shoe of all time, which is comical to say the least.
