Chocolate Dipped Vans for the Holidays

The iconic checkerboard pattern is as synonymous with Vans, as chocolate is to the holiday season. So it only makes sense that for this holiday season Vans would create the Chocolate Checkerboard Pack. Two of the company’s silhouettes were chosen to be part of the pack, the V2041HI and one of their most famous, the Sk8 Hi. While the combination of the color and print resembles that of the iconic LV Damier, we’re going to take the high road and assume these are holiday inspired treats.

You can almost taste the holiday chocolate in these sneakers. Which not only featuring the classic checkerboard print, each are accented in a chocolate brown patent material. Of course we all know that the best tasting holiday chocolate is always wrapped in gold foil, so Vans has accented both of these silhouettes with gold badges on the tongue, and then giving a little extra sweetness to the V2041HI with gold on the ankle area. While these may or may not arrive in the states, you can pick them up at Japan’s ABC-Mart now.

   Not a “Vans” person but the title caught my eye.
   These are a good concept (Im amused about the thought of “chocolate dipped” sneakers lol) but they OD’d by adding the LV print
