Baron Davis’ Li Ning BD Doom

words & images_Nick DePaula

Here we have a look at the home colorway of the Li Ning BD Doom that Baron Davis has been wearing all season long. After first showing you the away version last month, this home colorway doesn’t differ too greatly in appearance and features a combination synthetic and patent leather upper.

With its glossy midsole, polka-dotted laces and recognizable ‘Baron’s Beard’ tongue pull tab, the BD Doom will see a release during the first half of 2010 here in the US and will be priced at $100. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on all of the latest details about Li Ning as they launch the brand next year in America, and be on the lookout for a brand feature in a future issue of Sole Collector.

Nice. Ironically, I live in a country that serves as a dumping ground for China-made knock-offs and this official China brand ain’t here.
