Adidas x David Beckham by James Bond Marathon Mid

Those of us that reside in locales of moderate climate often overlook what many folks go through during these winter months. Stepping outside without worrying if your sneakers will have to go through rain, sleet or snow in a day, is something we often take for granted. This is something that, thankfully, designers and manufacturers do not overlook. Though these types of sneakers may not be a necessity for those in the sunshine-filled states, they make up a large part of the culture, and an even larger part of many of our fellow sneakerheads’ closet space. Our Canadian neighbors know the cold and wet winters better than most, and Goodfoot has got some freshly designed adidas to help battle that harsh weather.

The adidas Originals by Originals line has seen a number of creative concepts over the past couple years. Staying true to that pattern, David Beckham and James Bond of Undefeated have collaborated on the design of some Marathon Mids. The result of the collaboration is a winterized and waterproof boot, that keeps the moisture out thanks to the help of Gore-Tex enhanced uppers. Combined with an aggressive rugged outsole, these boots should easily satisfy those in need of some winter heat.
