Just in time for the holidays, adidas has a fresh new street-inspired silhouette hitting store shelves. With current trends pushing ankle heights, the adi-Rise comes with a much needed balanced approach to street-inspired sneakers. The adi-Rise features a mid-cut ankle which should appeal to a wide variety of sneakerheads. Straps on the ankle and the heel enable you to lock down the fit or add that extra flair, depending on your own personal style preference. An exaggerated tongue grabs your attention with the classic Trefoil logo which was originally seen for the first time back in the early 70′s, but also has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to the Originals by Originals line by adidas.
In case the additional shine wasn’t enough, the patent leather versions will gain further attention thanks to the contrasting color of the Trefoil logo. A snakeskin-like finish worked into the accenting panels is a subtle detail that gives the adi-Rise a more dignified feel. Final touches are then applied by the traditional three stripes, which on the adi-Rise take a subtle perforated approach. By mixing their history and current trends, adidas creates a classy sneaker that can be worn as a subtle and distinguished style, or a more bold and jaunty approach, whichever you choose.
A handful of colorways, including a trio of patent leather versions in white, purple and black, are available at select adidas retailers now. For more information follow @adidasUS on Twitter or go to adidas.com.

Glad to see adidas stepping up and making new waves in the market.
I see alot of supra in these new adidas lately
cool grey seems like a substantial with excellent geometry. Great step forward for a slowing company like adidas.
adidas doesn’t have that many designs but their made well (quality wise). nike has all these new materials like torch and flywire but the shoes themselves lack quality. so i think nike is the slowing down. the new nike at least.

Damn. Sure wish I’d find these here in the Philippines. The Adidas Originals store nearest to my place is still pretty far, though, and the mall it’s in is usually so crowded. Want to look for these, though.
