for me it was either the final monster in the battle arena of FFX or yiazmat on FFXII

this can be on any platform or any genre.

the only boss i couldn't beat and just gave up after a little while was the last boss in prince of persia on the ps2 (the newest prince of persia besides the one on 360/ps3)
