This was one of the most convoluted, stereotypical, politically incorrect, and immature movies I have every seen. I am also appalled that the amount of foul language in this movie is even there. Its a Transformers movie, not Bad Boys 2. I have an open mind when seeing movies, but I could not turn off that "common sense" part of my brain, like everyone in the theatre did. The first Transformers was decent, mostly something to please the more "diehard" fans, but still upset some. TF2 seemed like Michael Bay sat down and said, "K, guys, now that everyone thinks I'm serious about this franchise, Im going to make the movie I wanted to make, more Robots, 'Splosions, Foul Language, and offensive immature humor that will appeal to 11 year old boys, anyone?".
I also find it hard to believe that someone didn't have the decency or the balls to tell Michael to stop adding the horrible jokes and stereotypical satire (Devastator had balls, seriously?). I mean, did all of that just slip past everyone at the studio? Now, I am all for off-color humor and raunchy jokes, but absolutely not in a Transformers movie, please. And granted, I did enjoy some of the action scenes, If Michael got anything right, it was the ACTION. Forest scene gets a 
I watched for the second time on BR last night, and was waiting for it to end at about 1 hour into it. I just don't see how a "true" fan of Transformers could even watch this without complaining.

What exactly do you mean its a multimedia UG?
I thought Multimedia is media and content that uses a combination of different content forms.
Such as Text, Audio, Images/Photography, Animation, Video Footage, and is interactive.
So with that said, if there cant be a movie/tv UG then there really shouldnt be a Photography UG or Tech Junkies
cause video games/computers/ipod/Phones/pictures/images can technically go under multimedia...
Sure you using the right term?
I think we should have a seperate dedicated Movie/Tv UG.

I never said there shouldn't be a TV/Movie UG. I just don't see the need to make one when we are working on specializing in this section. With that being said you have two options here:
a. You can accept that we (JUSSBLAZE.) are working on becoming the dedicated TV/Movie UG and move on.
b. You can disregard what I just said and put in a petition for a new UG when the time comes and move on.

A or B, I'm down to join a Movie UG. I LIVE for movies. Watch a movie or two everyday.

Where the Wild Things Are- 6.4/10
First off, I was around when the book came out, but don't recall reading it. How to describe this movie? Let's see; DIFFERENT, for starters. Watching this film, I think I was kinda of laughing at it, or watching it like, "WTF?!" most of the time. It's PG, in yet I don't think it's for kids. The cinematography is nice, though. The settings, "wild things", etc, all look very well done. I just think the movie is weird; a failed attempt at a modern day Labryinth, if you must say. Also, the music is the funniest thing you'll ever hear. If you're going to watch this film, watch it high. IMO, only way to actually enjoy it.

Miguel - I haven't seen Where the Wild Things Are, after that review I probably won't, but it seems like one of those books that are better off not being made into movies.

Then I shall address the concerns/issues you brought up.
It's partially my fault for the poor word choice. The general term thrown around is 'media' or 'multimedia', but we do not mean literally text, audio, imagery, or other mediums. I was leaning toward 'popular culture whether it was in the form of movies, music, games, current events, etc.
The circumstances were a bit different because JB was one of the undesignated groups on ISS and when time came to pick up a description, I didn't feel right just removing members and starting over. I told my current members to start supporting the newer subforums and focused on 'media' friendly people for my next group of recruits. It may be a bit difficult to understand but I'll be glad to address any need for clarifications.
Ever since I've registered on ISS I was posting often in movie, music, and game related topics and have asked for a movie/tv forum early on. Obviously it was shot down, but everytime a new member decided to bring it back up, I would try to come in and support it. Unfortunately now that we have one, it is a bit difficult for me to post regularly.
Btw, I'm not trying to derail the thread. Just addressing something that was brought out in public. My pm is open if you guys have any further questions or concerns.

I wasn't trying to dodge what you said, I simply answered the part that stood out to me as the objective of your post.

Ummm nu uh; this forum will have its own separate UG if and when the time comes. Just because some of JB members are in here and post great things frequently, does not mean ur UG is said TV/Movie UG.
I may not be all over this forum but I still have a say as this is still "my" section to run. Many have already asked for a UG and therefore a separate Tv/Movie inspired UG shall be made if its right
