Saw the film this morning and have got to say that if you grew up with this man and the music, you have got to see it. There's nothing more to say. Watching this made him feel very present. He's a creative genius and just a legend in so many ways. Still can't believe he's gone. Watch it til the end of the credits.

I just saw the movie. See it in theatre's while you can it's amazing. Although it's rehearsal footage it was well orchestrated and put together. That concert itself would've been a memorable. Man in the mirror, billie jean, and human nature were the ones I really got into, all the performances were goood. At the end of the movie it seems as if he wasn't dead but he is. OH and btw no stunt doubles were used it was all michael. IMO this movie really fires down the reports and allegations about him and how he was portrayed in the media.

saw the movie on thursday and Michael was amazing. This event would of been a memorable one. MJ never lost a step and his voice was perfect like in the 90s. Thing I noticed is that MJ kept on saying "God Bless" after a conversation with a person and "I love you" aswell. Really made me realize how nice and an amazing of a person he was. And no there were no stunt doubles. It was all MJ.

Long live the King Thumbs Up

anybody got the "This Is It" lanyard from the movie? made me feel like I was taking a VIP access to see MJ in person, which felt like I was.

I finally got to go see the movie last night.

I have to say - it exceeded my expectations. How they made something so good out of rehearsal footage is beyond me.

The main thing you notice is that all the talent is still there. The vocals, the moves, the stage presence. In fact, he was toning it all down so he didn't exhaust himself in rehearsals - and he still looked/sounded great.

I loved that Michael seemed to respect the people around him as much as they respected him. Anytime he showed the slightest bit of frustration (which was rare), he made sure to say "I Love You" and "God Bless." And people weren't even offended - they were just honored to be in his presence and would have done anything to make his show what he wanted it to be.

It was funny watching Michael do the choreography so effortlessly. In the midst of all these young dancers who were just in awe of him. I liked when Michael performed solos - and his whole dance crew was there as the audience. You envy them, because they had a front row seat to watch their idol. And judging by their reactions, it was very surreal for them.

Some of these performances looked like they were going to be maybe the best he's ever done. "Smooth Criminal," "Thriller," and "They Don't Care About Us" stand out to me with the visuals and other things they incorporated into those performances.

I was laughing when Michael got really into singing "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" (I think) and got kinda upset afterward because he knew he was using his voice more than he wanted to, but couldn't help it Laughing

I really admired how hands on Michael was with the whole process. He didn't just show up to sing and dance. He was in on every aspect of the show. And knew exactly what he was talking about. Giving world class musicians tips on how to play their instruments Laughing But yeah, the man was a genius and a better actual musician that people gave him credit for. And he knew his own body of work better than any other musician knew theirs.

There was a lot more to comment on - but overall, it's just a great experience. I found myself forgetting that he's not here with us anymore. He didn't look frail or sick. Very strong, very fluid with the moves. His voice was strong. A complete shame that we'll never get to witness that talent fist hand ever again. He was about to outdo everybody's stage show at 50!!!

i totally agree with ^^^.

IT was an experience in itself just watching how Michael did it all that stuff. Through dance, the music, the cues, EVERYTHING. He was so hands on with the instruments, guitars, and lighting etc. Such a Genius. I miss him dearly and I know that concert would have been awesome.

but 50 shows?! thats sooo many... too bad we didn't see it unfold. And the Smooth Criminal part was just flawless.
