How beneficial is jump roping?

I'm trying to get bigger, stronger, more cut and build my number of reps on the exercises so I'm asking which would be a better schedule.
Workout everyday full body or two muscle groups each weightlifting session?

As long as the weightlifting session helps me get stronger but my schedule can't go for a 2 hour full body session anymore.
So then I was thinking to cut it down to at least 30 min or the most an hour and only go for two muscle groups each time I lift, but would my reps stay the same since I would be doing that exercise like once a week? _________________ Lebron James: Friendlies Pack/ UWR

SOURDIESEL HAS MADE IT INTO THE 2010 NAUTICA NEW YORK TRIATHLON!
This year's 2010 NYC Triathlon is the 10 year anniversary of the NY Tri here in Manhattan. Your very own SourDieseL of the Sneakerpimps and ISS will be slashing away at the Age Groupers field in search of a budding new sadistic sport of suffering. The training begins now as I aim to attack the podium of the Elite Age Groupers! Feel free to cheer me on as I will provide split times and course layout in the coming months.
Anyone who wants to train with me in NYC, please let me know as I'll be scheduling a very public Brick Work Out schedule with locations and times. Through the winter I'll be working the core and brick work outs daily. Long run days on a treadmill and spin classes galore. So if you're a NYSC member and want to kick your own ass with me, feel free to PM me.
