whats the noticeable differences between illustrator cs2 and cs3 or 4?
i have 2 im wondering if its worth going through an upgrade process

Patricio I stay on what the fonts.
CS2's selection tools are horrible compared to CS3 and CS4 still has a lot of bugs they got to work out. I say upgrade to CS3

Hey guys please forgive me if this is the wrong thread but....
I'm looking for a program where i can edit my pics, I went on Adobe site and the cs3- are more than what I was expecting.
Is there a cheaper way to get that program or an alternative?
Again sorry if this is the wrong thread, just point me in the direction of the right one if it is.

i would download like a photoshop trial, and see how you like the program and then go from there

Can anyone recommend a book or site geared towards NOOBs with photo editing with Photoshop. Or if any of you could post or PM me some tips it would be greatly appreciated. Your boy is struggling.

Alright, this I guess I just can't figure out.
This is regarding our new logo.

I've been using PNG's for as long as I can remember for transparent layers, since theres antialiased mattes.
Well now I'm required to use a gif, and I can't figure out how to get rid of the white matte, or make it completely transparent.
If you could provide some assistance it'd be much appreciated.
