On 1 June 2009, 2K Sports announced NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition to celebrate 10 years of the popular NBA 2K franchise, and the milestone of having sold two million units of NBA 2K9 worldwide. It is planned for release in North America this fall for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition will come packaged in a specially designed 2K Sports locker configured for game storage, and include exclusive items featuring 2009 NBA Finals MVP, Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, along with a special commemorative video looking back on 10 years of the NBA 2K franchise and its past cover athletes. Also ten lucky fans will have the rare opportunity to find an autographed Kobe Bryant fine-art print, designed by Shepard Fairey’s Studio Number One, which will be hidden and randomly packaged among the different lockers. Gamers with Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network membership will also be able to enjoy special privileges for NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition, including exclusive access to an online lobby - the Gold Room - where celebrities and other VIP members will go to play, and only players with the Anniversary Edition will be allowed to enter.
Publisher 2K Sports will release a downloadable title allowing users to create a player and bolster their skills ahead of the release of NBA 2K10.
The game titled NBA 2K10: Draft Combine arrives in September for about $5 on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
Users will create a custom player and work with a mentor to improve their skills in a variety of drills and 5-on-5 games. Users will have 300 different customizations to choose from, such as physical features and shooting animations.
Custom players can then be transferred to the full NBA 2K10 game for use in the new My Player mode. Users can also track their progress against others through online leaderboards.

I didnt know Kobe was gonna be on the 2k10 cover. I assumed since he was with sony he wasnt gonna switch over to another developer. Im happy though. Now they will get his jump shot right. _________________ It's the length of one day.

Cant wait to see whats new but this wont come out till august
more like october. madden comes out in august. I like how Knicks is winning by 1 percent. Its pretty obvious which cover is gonna win. Im pretty sure the one where hes popping his collar when he faced the Nuggets last playoffs is gonna win. _________________ It's the length of one day.
