price is not universal among all stores.
some charged $200 while others charged upwards of $450.
all depends on the store.

Is it safe to wear SBs without the insoles? If I run in them will the midsole fall apart more easily?

no .. i highly doubt that
they meant to be skated .. so i doubt running with out insole will make the sole fall apart

lows= 48
highs= 54
and for the mids i dunno .. they seem to be longer than high laces so just get a 54 ..
