Of course they are similar, as the midsole is the same, but I have noticed a lot of improvements.
Ankle support - better. Much more comfortable around the ankle and allows more movement. Still the lockdown is very good.
Weight - the BB III is actually lighter than both previous versions. The difference is big enough to notice.
The fit is slightly better. Very comfortable straight out of the box. They don't need much breaking time.
In general... the cons of the BB I were fixed and now we've got a better version of an already awesome shoe.

Yea well you're more accurate for sure.
I feel like that cuz I rocked BB 1's two years ago for the last time.
So I couldn't really compare them as good as you.

wow you just made me even more excited for these to come out. i love BBs and I will pick these up when they come out and hopefully the lows this time have full length zoom
