That's awesome, Pat... Congrats again... Too bad we couldn't meet up when you were down here for your mini-honeymoon...

Cross-post from photography thread.
So yeah. I just took place in the biggest game of my school's football team's season - The Bruce Mahoney.
Basically, it's the rival football match of Sacred Heart (my school) versus Saint Ignatius.. And we hold (and will always hold) the 2nd longest school rivalry in the COUNTRY.
Obviously, this game would get A LOT of publicity and the pictures don't lie.
I was lucky enough to be on the sidelines (privileges as my school's yearbook-and-pretty-much-everything-else photographer) and meet some different people, converse with them, talk about stuff, etc.
Here are shots of the photographers in action!
D300 + 300mm f/2.8 AF-S.
50D + 200mm f/2L IS.
^These two girls said that they go to SFSU (San Francisco State University, which is a 5-10 minute drive from my home lol) and went to the game because they had photojournalism class assignments. The school just let them borrow the gear they were using, which was pretty cool. My school doesn't fund jackshit to their [very little quantity of] photographers.
Professional Video camera (I have no idea whatsoever of the model, lol).
^Channel 5 news!?
D3 + 300mm f/2.8 AF-S and (not pictured) on his shoulder--with Black Rapid straps--a D2Hs + 70-200VR.
^SHCP's "Prestige" photographer.
D3 + 200-400VR.
^He was hired by SI, but came over to the SHCP side because he said the lighting was much more pleasing and much better on this side.
Yeah, I felt like I was in the middle of something big (which I was, actually) and professional, despite the fact that my gear was shit compared to the others. _________________ in.Focus 2.0 :: Powered by Nikon.

Talking about equipment.
Yesterday i went with my parents to help feed the homeless.
While talking to the Pastor he told me he has this old cam he doesnt use, so i was like " Why, dont you let me use it as practice?". An he was like Sure, It came with 3 Lenses but i had to buy Film. Its so much harder but fun to work with. Here are pics.
* I'll Take Pics of the lenses later. _________________ Marketplace Listings Size's 8-12

Are there any photographers that mainly talk shots of symmetry? I need to pick a photographer to emulate or imitate, and I want to do something with symmetry. _________________
