Depending on what HTIB you have you can run all your components into it and have it be the heart of your whole setup with HDMI of course. And yes you should have a cable for each, its going to become a hassle switching cables all the time. If your looking for a good HTIB go with the Onkyo hts6100. It offers you 4 hdmi in and its hdmi v1.3 which will do your video and audio with the HDMI cable, instead of the majority of HTIB that only do video not audio with the use of the HDMI cable (HDMI passthrough)

i just wall mounted my 50 inch
and bought a surround sound,but it didnt include a hdmi cable
so i have to cop one soon,any recommendations?

my friend just gave me his extra HD Cable because i didn't have enough to pick up a Monster cable.
idk if it affects the HDness (i guess you can say) quality in the picture but Monster would probably make the picture clearer.
